Motivation is the juice, Discipline is eternal sauce.

Be yourself; Everyone else is already taken.

— Oscar Wilde.

Let me ask you this, “How long does orange juice last in your fridge compared to BBQ sauce?” Ever wondered why some days your on top of game while other days you’re energy and vibe is completely off? Guess what? It is completely normal (there’s a reason why we are perfectly imperfect) it’s not everyday that you’re going to be motivated. But knowing when to be disciplined despite not feeling motivated is crucial for your resilience. There are couple of ways to stay disciplined regardless of whether motivation is there or not and guess what, through that discipline motivation will come (thats pretty counter intuitive right!).

Why the hell is she doing this?? ;)

Why is mental health important?

How you view yourself and experiences in life is all based on self-esteem. When someone walks into a room, its quite easy to depict whether they have low or high self esteem. Taking care of your health (mental) is how you maintain high self-esteem in order to bounce back easily from anything. Mind you self-esteem is one aspect of mental health but it is tied to every aspect (I know its weird).

Why do this?

  • Because growing up most of us had no clue what to do in terms of mental health. You can always start now its never too late
  • I’m no expert, I give advice based on my own life experiences and what I have done to evolve (trust me I dont always welcome change, I struggled at first).
  • I’m here to make sure you stay disciplined, blogging also helps me stay disciplined (no one is consistent 24/7, like I said more about how you bounce back) “I fall 9 times and get up 10” – Cardi b.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about? :

Motivation and discipline

Hot girls actually workout

Who doesn’t love food?

Lets educate ourselves

Seasonal changes

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another

MY PERSONAL GOALS FOR DOING THIS:

  • Amazing hobby
  • Help someone else start their mental health and fitness journey as they make awesome lifestyle changes
  • To stay consistent and disciplined
  • To grow and learn more (I dont know it all, your feedback will help me).
  • Intrinsic motivation
  • Knowledge is power, I’m learning more just like you.
